چکیده

This study was aimed to investigate phytochemical properties of Capparis spinosa roots extract and evaluate anti-arthritic activity this in adjuvant-induced arthritis mice which initiated using the complete Freund's adjuvant. For these purposes, C. were collected from different rural areas Wasit province, prepared analyzed phytochemically. Also, a total 42 male prepared, divided equally 7 groups involved 2 controls [negative (NC) positive (PC)] as well 5 treated (TG1, TG2, TG3, TG4 TG5) received respectively 100, 150, 200, 250 300 mg/kg B.W for 21 days. Phytochemical analysis L. showed significant elevation alkaloids lacking steroid, with existence tannins, saponins, polysaccharides carbohydrates glycosides, proteins amino acid, coumarins, flavonoids, polyphenolic compounds. The clinical findings right paw thickness revealed variation their values. Comparing NC, values PC increased significantly; while, concentrations variable significantly.
